Be a Leyland Lovely for a day winners announced

Well after weeks of voting the results are in and we are delighted to reveal your winner of the "Be a Leyland Lovely for a day" competition!

Like a modern day Fairy Godmother, leading trade paint brand Leyland has waved its magic wand to turn the dreams of two aspiring grid girls into a reality after they triumphed in Leyland’s 'Be A Leyland Lovely For The Day’ competition!

Congratulations to Amanda Wheal and Louise Mayhew who fought off strong competition from four other finalists to come out on top and win the opportunity to strut their stuff on the grid for leading British Touring Car Championship team Airwaves BMW at the season finale at Brands Hatch on 9th & 10th October.

Leyland Brand Manager, Nicki Hickman, said: “The competition initially opened in July and attracted a huge number of entries so it is testament to Amanda and Louise that they came out on top. The voting was so close that we decided to invite both girls to join us for the final weekend. They fully deserve their places on the grid alongside our Leyland Lovelies Tina and Sophie and we’re as excited about having them as they undoubtedly are!”
